Decordova Museum
Favorite Picture and Reflection Of Decordova
Our field trip to Decordova Museum was an experience that I
will never forget. Have the day to evaluate and analyze other artists sculptures,
portraits, pictures, and works of art was all together very exciting and
informative. If I was offered to go there again (even outside of school)
I would do it in a heartbeat. There is so much to see and even after a
whole day walking around the exhibits in the sculpture park i was still amazed
at the fact that I had not seen it all. The sculpture park gave us the
opportunity to photograph many interesting pieces of work and I was so happy
with how all my pictures turned out. The photo that I took to the left
was my favorite picture that I had taken at Decordova. The way the
lighting turned out, the Bird Man by Laura Ford appears to be very ominous and
terrifying in this picture. Although I did really like this photo over
the rest, it was still a very difficult decision because all the pictures I
took were well composed in my opinion and I enjoy going back and looking at
them again now and then. I hope everyone else on the field trip had the
same positive experience that I did and if hope that this field trip continues
to happen for future digital photography classes because it is an amazing
experience both to see wonderful works of art as well as being able to compose
works of art of your own from the works of art from various artists.
