Conservation Photography
Conservation photography, in my opinion, was a very easy assignment for me to take pictures for. I am always in the woods in my free time so it was easy to capture the beauty of the environment. Rather than capture the negative aspects of the conservation of nature, I decided to capture the true beauty of nature. One of my pictures that I believe made a statement was the Jersey barrier in front a trail that reads stop. The reason I like this photo is because it gives me the feeling as if a higher power is trying to stop people from going into the forest were they can enjoy nature. Another photo that stood out to me was the young pine tree that is in front of the naturally fallen large tree. What stands out in that picture is the forest keeps growing and the re-birth of the forest and with every tree that falls, 2 or 3 trees replace its spot. I think that my photos could standout to the viewers and make them want to indulge in the awesomeness of nature. I believe that if more people saw the beauty of or local forests they would treat them better and that is where I took most of my conservation photos.
